Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Raymond Maximus (ranked 4239 p4p, 4741 weight class) and Piotr Skowronek (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Maximus comes to the cage accompanied by Heavy Rain by Solence. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Maximus!
Maximus wants to clinch.
Skowronek looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Nice sprawl there from Skowronek as Maximus shoots in.
Maximus lands a jab to Skowronek's midsection.
Skowronek swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Maximus attempts a counter takedown but Skowronek avoids it well and moves away.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Maximus tries to clinch there but Skowronek circles away.
Maximus shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Skowronek but Skowronek pushes him off and we're back to square one.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Raymond Maximus. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Maximus fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Skowronek checks it well.

Skowronek is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Maximus.

Maximus shoots for a takedown but Skowronek saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Maximus tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Skowronek manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Skowronek postures up and lands a big shot to Maximus's brow.

Skowronek gets to his feet and stands over Maximus, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Maximus felt that one! Skowronek unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Maximus from any more punishment!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Piotr Skowronek!
In defeat, Raymond Maximus stepped up to the mic, saying 'It sucked, but here's the thing. I actually benefit more by losing because it teaches you to push yourself harder. Thank you guys!'.
