The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Yukihiro Shimada and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Koningh slips under a jab.
We've been informed that Koningh has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Koningh goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
It looks like Nero La Croix has been cut.
La Croix gets a clinch.

Koningh blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
La Croix swings away with an uppercut that misses.

La Croix creates a bit of space for himself and unleashed what can only be described as a tiger uppercut, straight out of Street Fighter! Koningh crashes to the mat! Koningh lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but La Croix circles away quickly and effectively.

La Croix ducks under a wild hook from Koningh.
La Croix just misses with a punch to the body.
Koningh throws a combination that misses
and La Croix counters with a low kick, right behind Koningh 's knee.
La Croix lands a right hook to the body.
La Croix throws a head kick that misses.
La Croix darts in and clinches Koningh up against the ropes.

La Croix lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.

The fight stays on the outside here - La Croix looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
La Croix connects with a quick right hand that sends Koningh tumbling backwards onto the canvas! As his head bounces into the ropes, it doesn't look good for him beating the count! 3,4,5,6,7 and he's up! No, he's back down again! This one is all over - the referee has called off the fight!
