Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Shane O Donelly (ranked 2814 p4p, 2569 weight class) and Toe Fungas (ranked 384 p4p, 360 weight class). Shane O Donelly has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Shane O Donelly! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Toe Fungas! The judges for this bout are Marco Blurstr�m, Roosa J�rvil�inen and Matti Vanhoillinen.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Both fighters are only really looking to counter, so after a good 30 seconds of circling each other endlessly, the referee has stepped in and told them both to be more aggressive. Horrible takedown attempt by O Donelly or perhaps it was just good defense by Fungas, which made it look bad. Fungas is clearly trying to counter these attacks from O Donelly with a body shot. O Donelly really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. O Donelly closes the distance and clinches up with Fungas, looking for a takedown. O Donelly pushes Fungas against the cage but Fungas circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Fungas misses with a looping left. O Donelly fails with a takedown attempt from distance. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Shane O Donelly. That's going to take a lot out of him. O Donelly doesn't succeed with the takedown and Fungas counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Fungas misses with a hook. Fungas connects with a nice looking jab.
A slow jab from Fungas misses its intended target. O Donelly ducks under a wild hook from Fungas. O Donelly drops down looking for a counter takedown but Fungas sprawls and moves away.
 That's three minutes gone in the round.
O Donelly decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. O Donelly works his foot free and advances to mount.
O Donelly jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Fungas manages to avoid the submission attempt. O Donelly advances nicely into full mount. O Donelly lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Fungas hang on? Fungas really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. O Donelly moves to the back.
 That's four minutes gone in the round.
Fungas is trying to defend against the choke here but O Donelly has an arm under his chin. This one might not last much longer. O Donelly Tightens the hold and Fungas taps out furiously! O Donelly displays superior BJJ to win the fight.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Shane O Donelly!
