Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Georges St Pierre Jr!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jock Strap!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Paul Tew and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Strap avoids the head kick by St Pierre Jr.
Strap throws out a counter right but St Pierre Jr avoids it with no problem.
Strap lands a body shot.
Strap blocks a low kick nicely.
A head kick misses from St Pierre Jr.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Strap! But no joy.
St Pierre Jr fails with a takedown attempt.
Strap has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from St Pierre Jr.
St Pierre Jr tries to score a power double leg takedown but Strap sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten St Pierre Jr somewhat.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
St Pierre Jr uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Strap.
Georges St Pierre Jr seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Strap stuffs the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Georges St Pierre Jr. That's going to take a lot out of him.
St Pierre Jr throws a head kick but Strap moves out of range.
Strap looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
St Pierre Jr is breathing heavily.
Strap throws a body shot but no joy.
St Pierre Jr tries for a takedown but Strap circles away easily
and Strap counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
That's one minute gone in the round.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from St Pierre Jr.
Strap cracks St Pierre Jr with a hook to the temple - St Pierre Jr is on wobbly legs here! Strap swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! St Pierre Jr falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Strap wins by TKO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:14 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Jock Strap!
A relieved looking Jock Strap thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
