Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Miguel Diaz!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Percy O'Donnell and Jack Bonds.

Diaz gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Diaz jumps guard but Firebrand stands there with Diaz around his waist. Diaz gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Firebrand creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

It looks like Miguel Diaz has been cut.

Diaz has hold of one of Firebrand's legs. Firebrand is fighting the takedown attempt but Diaz gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

Diaz drops back looking for a leg! Firebrand is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Firebrand manages to kick Diaz off! Diaz jumps back into Firebrand's guard.

Diaz thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Firebrand is working an open guard so Diaz takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
A decent looking cross lands there for Firebrand.
Gunthark Firebrand seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sloppy strikes from Diaz. Those never looked like landing.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Diaz shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Firebrand defends it nicely.

Firebrand cracks Diaz with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Diaz looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Firebrand finish him?

Diaz shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Firebrand pinned against the cage. Firebrand gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Gunthark Firebrand has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Miguel Diaz.
Diaz looks winded!
Firebrand drops a shoulder and throws a monster hook that connects perfectly to the side of Diaz's head, knocking him out cold! Firebrand is extatic as he celebrates with his cornermen.

'.
