Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jon Umber (ranked 1863 p4p, 6771 weight class) and Matt Dammon (ranked 222 p4p, 561 weight class). Umber comes to the cage accompanied by Red Hot Chili Peppers - Aeroplane. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dammon needs to keep his hands up - Umber had a free shot at his head there.
Dammon takes a jab right on the kisser.
Umber throws a left and a right that both miss
enabling Dammon to counter with a crisp jab.
Umber misses with a hook
and Dammon connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Umber connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Dammon's hands.
Umber misses with a left hand
and Dammon counters with a nice uppercut.
Umber tries a head kick but it misses.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Dammon! But no joy.
Umber throws a right hand that misses
and Dammon counters with a nice uppercut.
Umber lands with a cross.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Umber lands with a straight right. Dammon didn't see that one coming.

Dammon doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

and Dammon counters with a stiff right hand.
Umber just misses with a punch to the body.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Sloppy strikes from Umber. Those never looked like landing.
A little jabbing left from Dammon on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Umber dances in with a quick combination. Dammon is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Umber snaps Dammon's head back. Dammon stumbles backwards against the cage. Umber steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Dammon's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Dammon just didn't come prepared.
