Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Leonardo Nascimento!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Steve Smith and Trevor Gratis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Debrouchee fails to land with a series of punches.
Nascimento wants to counter the offense by Debrouchee and move into the clinch position.

Nascimento clinches up against the cage.
Debrouchee really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Nascimento has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Nascimento wants a takedown but no success here.

Debrouchee breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Debrouchee scores with a jab. Nascimento acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Debrouchee bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Nascimento's head backwards.

Debrouchee gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Nascimento to score an easy takedown into full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Nascimento drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Nascimento jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Nascimento is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Nascimento drops back, looking for a kneebar! Debrouchee looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Debrouchee looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Debrouchee!

Debrouchee wants to stand but Nascimento has his arm trapped.
Debrouchee wants to control for a moment but Nascimento uses the opportunity to move back to half guard.
Debrouchee throws a strike but Nascimento avoids it easily and moves to full guard.

Debrouchee wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Nascimento's closed guard. He's half up but Nascimento has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Nascimento pivots and extends the arm, Debrouchee falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Nascimento! Well done that man!
