Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Phoenix Dawn (ranked 2916 p4p, 2469 weight class) and Crazy Legs (ranked 376 p4p, 326 weight class). Crazy Legs has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Legs slaps away a takedown attempt from Dawn, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Legs tries to counter by closing the distance.

and Legs counters by clinching up.

Legs tightens his grip and picks Dawn up, before dumping him to the ground. Dawn manages to land in guard.

Legs is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Dawn is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Legs's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Legs told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Legs looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Legs is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Dawn is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Dawn sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Dawn tries to score a power double leg takedown but Legs sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Dawn somewhat.

Dawn wants to hit a sweep here but Legs passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Dawn there!
Dawn is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

Legs swings around for an armbar and he's got it! Wow, that came out of nowhere! What a finish!
