Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Shane O Malley (ranked 3756 p4p, 5905 weight class) and Harald Harling (ranked 0 p4p, 538 weight class). Harling is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: The HU - Wolf totem. Harald Harling has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Chris Downing and Daniel Franklin.

O Malley takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
O Malley drops Harling with a beautiful combination! Harling stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - O Malley is looking for the KO!
Harling is rocked!
It looks like Harald Harling has been cut.
Harling drops O Malley with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but O Malley looks back up at him and smiles so Harling waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Harling is still on wobbly legs! Can O Malley finish him?
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
O Malley throws a body shot but no joy.
Oh O Malley is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
O Malley feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as O Malley accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

O Malley looks up at the clock and then as Harling takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, O Malley smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

O Malley has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

After winning the bout, Shane O Malley thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
In defeat, Harald Harling stepped up to the mic, saying 'You win lose, you some some.'.
