Nice takedown defense from Mane. No joy for Der Veer Jr on that attempt.
Mane stalks Der Veer Jr and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Der Veer Jr's face. Der Veer Jr staggers backwards, shaken.
Mane connects with a single shot there.

Der Veer Jr feints and as Mane raises his hands in defense, Der Veer Jr changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Mane escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Der Veer Jr gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Mane quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Der Veer Jr has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Mane celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
