We've been hearing good reports from Adesanya's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Adesanya has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Der Veer Jr can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Der Veer Jr avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Adesanya escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Der Veer Jr gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Der Veer Jr wants to control from the top but Adesanya keeps moving.

Adesanya working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Der Veer Jr doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Der Veer Jr manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Adesanya has his foot on Der Veer Jr's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Der Veer Jr works his way back into a safe position though.
