Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Adrian Patty (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Santari (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be a great matchup!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Santari shoots in and bounces Patty off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Patty looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!

Santari stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Patty swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Patty drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Santari dives on top into guard.

Patty tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Patty has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Santari is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Patty off and has taken his back!

Patty manages to reverse the position and now he's in Santari's guard. Nice work there by Patty.

Santari drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Patty manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Santari has Patty in his guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
