Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jonny Baker (ranked 3434 p4p, 4324 weight class) and Kron Gracie (ranked 393 p4p, 465 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Gracie's choice of entrance music: ROYCE GRACIE. Kron Gracie will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Gracie is defended easily by Baker.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Gracie.
Baker doesn't manage to clinch there - Gracie circles away.
Baker stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Baker wants it to stay on the feet.

Gracie shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Baker pinned against the cage. Baker gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Baker is controlling an arm, preventing Gracie from taking his back. Although keeping him in mount is no better to be honest.

Gracie tries to free his leg and advance position but Baker is retaining full guard.
Baker bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Gracie's guard.

Baker looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Baker's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

As Gracie tries to get set, Baker tries to push him back and clinch up but Gracie manages to avoid the attempt.

and Baker counters with a crisp one two that drops Gracie! Baker thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Gracie to his feet! Gracie is in big trouble!

Gracie takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Baker dips a shoulder and cracks Gracie with a mighty uppercut! Gracie falls back against the cage and Baker unloads with a barrage of strikes! Gracie is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Baker screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
