Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dillon Van Barle (ranked 2198 p4p, 1430 weight class) and Ivan Izquierdo (ranked 294 p4p, 191 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Dillon Van Barle has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Dillon Van Barle seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

and Van Barle counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Van Barle looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

It looked like Van Barle wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Van Barle tries to land knees in the clinch but Izquierdo avoids the damage to the body.
Izquierdo has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Van Barle uses from the top position.
