Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Gwen Towbar and Frank Dennis.

Sims misses with a takedown attempt - Walker sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Liam Walker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Walker is looking to score with low kicks.
Sims changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Walker tries to avoid it but Sims manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Walker to the ground. Walker escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Sims closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Walker did well to prevent Sims getting side control.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Walker holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now.
Walker is looking for a sweep. Sims is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Sims throws a strike but Walker avoids it easily and moves to full guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sims postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Sims shoots in for a takedown but Walker shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Liam Walker has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Trevor Sims.
Walker stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Walker wants it to stay on the feet.
Sims takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
It looks like Trevor Sims has been cut.
Walker takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

Walker lands a nice shot that snaps Sims's head back.
