Benitoy kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Sweet Child O' Mine. John Michael Benitoy has the better chin. Cerrahoglu closes the distance and clinches up with Benitoy, looking for a takedown. Cerrahoglu pushes Benitoy against the cage but Benitoy circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Cerrahoglu has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Benitoy postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Cerrahoglu in real trouble here! The ref calls for Cerrahoglu to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
