Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mark Doncaster (ranked 1889 p4p, 894 weight class) and Dom Severini (ranked 260 p4p, 130 weight class). Dom Severini told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dom Severini!
The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Daniel Blasius and Radbod Blank.

Severini looks to land a combination but Doncaster avoids it well.
A little feinted left hand from Doncaster on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Doncaster misses with a takedown attempt - Severini sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Severini lands a left and a right that send Doncaster crashing to the mat, dazed. Severini thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

We've been hearing good reports from Doncaster's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Severini swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Doncaster.

Oh Doncaster is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
