Conchobhar throws a body punch but Khalimov moves out of range.
Khalimov is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
Khalimov throws the left hand but Conchobhar avoids the punch easily.
Khalimov changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Conchobhar tries to avoid it but Khalimov manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Conchobhar to the ground. Conchobhar escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Conchobhar lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

It looks like Conchobhar has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him.

Murad Khalimov's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

Khalimov throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Conchobhar was covering up waiting for the punch and Khalimov finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Khalimov seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Conchobhar does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Conchobhar's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

Khalimov shoots in looking for a takedown. Conchobhar tries to sprawl out of it but Khalimov keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Conchobhar manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Herleifr Conchobhar seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
