Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dmitry Mazanov (ranked 2305 p4p, 3197 weight class) and Jolly Roger (ranked 312 p4p, 418 weight class). Roger is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Under Jolly Roger. Jolly Roger has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Roger moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Mazanov looks to land a combination but Roger avoids it well.
Roger shoots in and drives through. Mazanov sprawls well.
Mazanov fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.

Roger darts in looking for a takedown but Mazanov gets double underhooks and turns Roger into the cage.
It looked like Mazanov wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

Roger closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Mazanov tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Roger wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Mazanov has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Roger has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Mazanov should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Roger has tightened it up now! Mazanov should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!

In his post fight interview, Jolly Roger started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
