Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rob Pardool (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Goto Dengo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Rob Pardool! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Goto Dengo! The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Daniel Cesar and Edson Gomes.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pardool takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Goto Dengo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dengo shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Dengo was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Dengo wants to stand and escape but Pardool is having none of it. Dengo pulls Pardool in to control the position. Let's hope that Dengo has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Pardool stopping the sweep attempt from Dengo. Pardool pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Dengo is keeping the position for now.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Dengo is controlling Pardool's posture.
Pardool thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Pardool is breathing heavily. Dengo wants to stand up but Pardool is controlling him. Dengo keeping full guard, as Pardool tries to pass.
Dengo has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Pardool can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
 The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Dengo shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Dengo is figuring out what he wants to do next. Pardool wants to control but Dengo is keeping busy.
Pardool tries to roll over but Dengo keeps him under control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Dengo is trying a forearm choke� I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Pardool is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Pardool looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Dengo trying to control the pace. Pardool trying to control but Dengo postures up.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Pardool is pressing down on Dengo's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Pardool really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Pardool wants to sweep here but Dengo controlling him for the moment. Pardool is trying to control the position but Dengo postures up.

Pardool misses with a takedown attempt and Dengo counters with a nice uppercut. Pardool fails with the takedown
and Dengo counters with a nice double leg into side control. Pardool won't be happy with that.
Dengo decides to stand back up. Dengo steps back and let's Pardool get back to his feet.
Pardool gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Pardool trying to keep a closed guard but Dengo is proving a slippery customer.
Pardool manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Dengo manages to get himself to full guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Pardool trying to control the position from guard on top but Dengo is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Pardool will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Pardool drops back looking for a leg! Dengo is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Dengo manages to kick Pardool off! Pardool jumps back into Dengo's guard. Dengo looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Dengo keeping full guard, as Pardool tries to pass. Pardool is working hard here to advance position. Dengo has control of Pardool's left arm, preventing Pardool from doing any damage. Pardool has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Dengo is proving hard to escape from. Pardool passes Dengo's right leg, so he's now in half guard. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Dengo can do anything to dispel that myth. Pardool wants to free his trapped foot but Dengo is holding on for dear life with his legs. Pardool prevents Dengo from improving his position.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Pardool wants to work for an arm triangle but Dengo is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Pardool seems to be looking for submissions.
Pardool is looking for a kimura but Dengo is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Pardool to get the leverage. Pardool trying to pass the guard but Dengo defending well. Pardool moves into side control, avoiding the strikes from Dengo.
Pardool tries to advance to mount but Dengo denies him. Dengo is looking to reverse the position.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Dengo trying his best to control but Pardool has mounted him. Pardool wants to control the pace but Dengo is squirming around nicely. Dengo throwing hammer fists to the chest of Pardool. What's that going to do exactly? Pardool avoids the attempt from Dengo to control. Dengo tries to reverse the position but Pardool maintains control. Pardool trying to control but he's not successful this time. Dengo can't escape the position.
Dengo wants to hold on but Pardool pushes him away.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Pardool trying to control but Dengo is having none of it. Dengo tries to control Pardool's body but Pardool pushes him off. Dengo squirms to his side and now Pardool has his back! Dengo controlling the position well but he knows he's in a bad position. Dengo is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get Pardool off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted. Dengo wants to control his opponent's hands but Pardool gets his hands free. Dengo might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Pardool kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Pardool has the hooks in. Dengo is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted. And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.
Goto Dengo showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!

 Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Dengo lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Dengo tries to land a front kick but Pardool steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Dengo scores a takedown into full mount! Dengo really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Pardool. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Dengo lands a nice shot to the head. Pardool wants to hold on but Dengo pushes him away. Dengo prevents Pardool from getting the reversal. Rob Pardool has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Dengo avoids the attempt from Pardool to control. Dengo tries to stand up but he's trapped just for the moment. Dengo prevents Pardool from getting the reversal. Dengo content just to control the position here. Pardool is not a happy chappy� he wants out of there.

 That's three minutes gone in the round. Pardool wants to control but Dengo is having none of it. Pardool is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control. Pardool keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Dengo controlling from mount. Dengo thowing shots but they're missing. Dengo thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!

 That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Dengo controlling his opponent.
Dengo is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Pardool can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Dengo is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Pardool has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Pardool! A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Pardool accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Pardool with a nice head shot there.

And that's the end of the fight! Goto Dengo comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Dengo has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
