Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Cyrus Plague (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bada Boom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Plague comes to the cage accompanied by Calibrate the Virus by Winter Solstice. Boom has chosen Metallica - All Nightmare Long as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Cyrus Plague!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Bada Boom!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Shirou Masuda and Shigeki Fujiwara.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Plague misses with a few strikes there.
Boom defending well as Plague loads up on a big left hand.
Plague misses with a two punch combination.
Plague tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Boom was well out of range. Poor timing from Plague.
Plague throws a hook but Boom avoids it easily.
Plague lands a jab to the head.
Boom showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Plague.
Boom closes the distance and clinches up with Plague, looking for a takedown. Boom pushes Plague against the cage but Plague circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Plague throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
A nice combination there by Boom.
Plague with a hook.
Nice sprawl there from Plague as Boom shoots in.
Boom lands with an uppercut that bounces Plague off the cage and back into rage.
Plague rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Boom moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Boom fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Plague avoids it really well and circles away.
Cyrus Plague has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bada Boom.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Boom shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Plague as he avoids it easily.

Boom throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Plague was covering up waiting for the punch and Boom finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Plague working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Boom doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Boom manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Plague throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.

Boom loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Plague looks to land a combination. Boom sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Plague throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Boom counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Plague wants to sweep here but Boom controlling him for the moment.
Plague bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Boom's guard.
Plague working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Plague connects with a couple of short punches.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Plague wants to pass the guard but Boom is keeping the position.
Plague is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Boom is looking to sinch up a triangle. Plague throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Boom's body to avoid the submission. Boom has instead reached around Plague's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Boom arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
