Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Buenaventura Durruti (ranked 1632 p4p, 2965 weight class) and Theodore Nouveau (ranked 90 p4p, 163 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Nouveau misses with a takedown attempt

and Durruti counters with a crisp one two that drops Nouveau! Durruti thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Nouveau to his feet! Nouveau is in big trouble!

Durruti throws out a loose jab but Nouveau uses good head movement to avoid it.
Nouveau drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Durruti defends it well.

Nouveau drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Durruti manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Nouveau has Durruti in his guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Durruti is thwarting Nouveau's attempts to control the position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Nouveau has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Durruti is working away from the top position though.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Nouveau is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

As Nouveau looks to move away, Durruti throws a big counter combo but Nouveau just gets out of the way.

Nouveau feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Nouveau drops back, looking for a kneebar! Durruti looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Durruti looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Durruti!

That was a close round but I would say that Buenaventura Durruti will probably get the nod.
