Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Leonard Nimoy (ranked 1439 p4p, 3720 weight class) and Manu Dibangu (ranked 223 p4p, 483 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Leonard Nimoy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Manu Dibangu!
The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Felipe Paraventi and Mauricio Rocha.

Dibangu avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Nimoy misses with a hook.
Dibangu drops his hands momentarily and Nimoy takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
It looks like Manu Dibangu has been cut.
Dibangu uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Good exchange - Nimoy coming out on top.

Manu Dibangu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That kick from Nimoy tenderised Dibangu's leg. Dibangu is trying to keep his angry face on.
Dibangu scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Nimoy doesn't seem bothered though.

Nimoy takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

Nimoy tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Dibangu was well out of range. Poor timing from Nimoy.

Nimoy pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Dibangu back to the cage. Nimoy follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

The fighters circling - Dibangu throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Nimoy missing with a left hand there. Dibangu was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Dibangu lands a nice shot that snaps Nimoy's head back.
Dibangu throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Nimoy sees it coming and avoids it easily.
We've been told by Nimoy's head coaches at Iron mikes mma that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Nimoy avoids the body shot from Dibangu.
Dibangu misses with a lunging right hand
and Nimoy counters with a nice leg kick.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

and Nimoy connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Dibangu ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Nimoy moves away.
Nimoy ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Dibangu throws a big shot that misses.
Nimoy was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Dibangu lunges at Nimoy with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Nimoy's hand.
Nimoy uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Dibangu.
Nimoy takes a swing at Dibangu's ribcage but misses.
Dibangu is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.

Dibangu looks to land a right hand but Nimoy moved out of range.
It appears Nimoy was looking to counter with a kick there.
Dibangu lands a slapping body shot.
A clash of legs there as Dibangu blocks the low kick.
Dibangu misses with a lunging right hand
enabling Nimoy to counter with a crisp jab.
Dibangu cracks Nimoy with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
A looping hook to the body misses from Dibangu. Nimoy does a little dance to reset his feet.
Nimoy takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Nimoy avoids the body shot from Dibangu.
A quick step to the side and Nimoy tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Dibangu misses with a hook. Nimoy ducked under it nicely.
It looked like Nimoy was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Dibangu.
Nimoy is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Nimoy cracks Dibangu with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Dibangu looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Nimoy finish him?
Dibangu is rocked!

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Dibangu throws a sloppy body shot
and Nimoy counters with a huge right that knocks Dibangu out cold! Nimoy is running around with a crazed look on his face - you can see how much that meant to him!
