Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Alan Man (ranked 3713 p4p, 6252 weight class) and Cthulhu Mythos (ranked 0 p4p, 562 weight class). Cthulhu Mythos is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Mythos gets tackled into the cage by Man. Man maintains the clinch.

Man manages to pull guard.
Mythos wants to control from the top but Man keeps moving.
Man is trying to keep Mythos in close.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Mythos working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.

Man is looking for a triangle but Mythos pushes his legs off easily.

Man is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Mythos is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mythos makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.

Mythos is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Man has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Mythos is looking to defend but Man has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Mythos! Man pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Mythos taps out and this one is all over!

Alan Man tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
