and Layton counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Layton circles away from the clinch attempt.
Vladimir looks to land a right hand but Layton moved out of range.
Vladimir throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Layton counters with a nice body shot.
Layton looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Layton throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Vladimir stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

It looks like Sergov Vladimir has been cut.
Vladimir tries to close the distance and clinch but Layton swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
The fight stays on the outside here - Vladimir looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Layton uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Vladimir.
Layton dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Layton cracks Vladimir with a hook to the temple - Vladimir is on wobbly legs here! Layton swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Vladimir falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Layton wins by TKO!
