Plugger tries to bum rush Conner with a series of wild strikes but Conner uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Conner throws a body shot but no joy.
Plugger shoots in but no luck this time.
Conner is looking to counter punch.

and Conner connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Conner drives through and clinches with Plugger against the cage.
Plugger has Conner pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Conner manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Conner lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Plugger.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Plugger is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Conner can't fight it off and eventually Plugger manages to take the fight to the floor. Conner looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Plugger tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Conner misses with a few strikes there.
Plugger ducks under a wild hook from Conner.
Conner looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Plugger looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Conner is fending him off so far but Plugger persists. Nope, Conner circles away and we're back to standing.
Sammie Conner has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Pull Plugger.

Conner lunges at Plugger with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Plugger's hand.
Plugger darts in looking for a takedown but Conner gets double underhooks and turns Plugger into the cage.

Conner connects with a right hand. Plugger shakes it off.
Conner looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
And Plugger tries to counter it with a takedown but Conner pushes his down on his head and steps out.

Plugger had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Conner defends it easily.
