Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alex MacLaughlin (ranked 2709 p4p, 2163 weight class) and Aleksi Ollila (ranked 361 p4p, 294 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Aleksi Ollila!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.

MacLaughlin dives in and scores a takedown into Ollila's guard.
MacLaughlin trying to control but Ollila is working from the bottom.
MacLaughlin stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Ollila swivels though and keeps the full guard.
MacLaughlin is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
MacLaughlin trying to control the position from guard on top but Ollila is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Ollila looking to hit a scissor sweep but MacLaughlin is one step ahead there.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
MacLaughlin is looking for a kimura but Ollila is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for MacLaughlin to get the leverage.
MacLaughlin wants to work for an arm triangle but Ollila is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

MacLaughlin has control of Ollila's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Ollila regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Ollila tries to hold on but MacLaughlin postures up.
MacLaughlin looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Ollila wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back.

MacLaughlin definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
MacLaughlin is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Ollila is defending well though. MacLaughlin let's go of the attempt for now.

MacLaughlin has the hooks in and he's looking for a rear naked choke here. Ollila is defending well but eventually MacLaughlin manages to get an arm under the chin and he's locked on the RNC! Ollila has no choice but to tap now! He does! This one is all over!
