PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Stan Swampert (ranked 3095 p4p, 3540 weight class) and Junior Turner (ranked 58 p4p, 65 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

Turner tests Swampert's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Swampert throws a head kick that half lands.
Turner throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Swampert is looking to counter with head kicks.
Turner blocks a head kick by Swampert.
Turner let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Swampert lands a head kick. Turner smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Turner stalks Swampert and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Swampert's face. Swampert staggers backwards, shaken.
Turner misses with a few strikes there.
Turner tests Swampert's chin there with a solid looking shot.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Turner sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Swampert lands with a kick to the temple. Turner shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Swampert goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Turner blocks a head kick by Swampert.
Turner tries to bum rush Swampert with a series of wild strikes but Swampert uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Swampert tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Turner tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Turner throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Swampert stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Turner throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Turner takes a swing at Swampert's ribcage but misses.
Swampert throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Turner throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Swampert lets loose with a powerful body kick. Turner will feel that in the morning.
Swampert's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Turner connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Swampert scrambles back to his feet.
Swampert thuds his shin into the meat of Turner's side.
Turner cracks Swampert with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Turner looks to score with a jab to the body but Swampert is just out of range.
It looked like Swampert was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Turner scores with a jab to the body.
Swampert throws a head kick but Turner moves out of range.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Swampert doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Turner works Swampert's body with a nice hook.
Swampert is breathing heavily.

Swampert has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Turner finds it's way round the side to connect with Swampert's head.

The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Turner checks a leg kick.
Swampert throws a head kick that misses.
Turner misses the shot to the body.
Turner just manages to avoid a counter high kick fromSwampert.
Turner looks to score with a jab to the body but Swampert is just out of range.

A lazy body kick from Swampert
and Turner counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Swampert misses with a kick to the body.
Swampert moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Turner has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off.
Swampert throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
It seemed like Turner was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Turner scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Swampert doesn't seem bothered though.
Swampert's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Turner connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Swampert scrambles back to his feet.

Swampert is rocked!
Turner connects with a jab, followed by a picture perfect straight right that sends Swampert to the canvas, out cold! What a finish by Turner!
