Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

Jacobs fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
It looked like Smoker was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Jacobs.
Jacobs doesn't manage to clinch there - Smoker circles away.
A little feinted left hand from Smoker on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.

Island Smoker has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mikey Jacobs.
Jacobs shoots in looking for a takedown. Smoker tries to sprawl out of it but Jacobs keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Smoker manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

It looked like Smoker was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

and Smoker counters with a nice right hand that sends Jacobs toppling to the canvas! Jacobs scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Smoker finish him?!

It looks like Mikey Jacobs has been cut.
Jacobs misses with a takedown attempt - Smoker sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
