Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Torkel Bystrom (ranked 307 p4p, 22 weight class) and Kvame Zulu (ranked 46 p4p, 4 weight class). Zulu has chosen Big Badaboom as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Steven Brown and Daniel Bishop.

Good exchange - Zulu coming out on top.
It looks like Torkel Bystrom has been cut.
Zulu changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Zulu getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Bystrom misses with a straight right.
Bystrom on the wrong end of a nice jab.
A left lands for Zulu.

Zulu throws a shot from downtown. Bystrom moves away and avoids it.
Bystrom looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Zulu appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
Zulu lands a nice looking kick to the body. Bystrom takes a step back to recover.
Bystrom is breathing heavily.

Zulu's jab looks to have found its range, popping Bystrom under the eye.

Zulu lands a big right hand that sends Bystrom crashing to the mat! Zulu stays standing though and waves Bystrom back to his feet!
Torkel Bystrom's cut is getting worse.
Kvame Zulu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bystrom uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Zulu.
Bystrom looked to counter with a high kick but didn't commit.
Bystrom throws a right hand that Zulu ducks under and follows up with a left that Zulu also avoids with ease.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
A looping hook to the body misses from Zulu. Bystrom does a little dance to reset his feet.
Decent striking displayed by Zulu there.
Zulu throws a jab when Bystrom was well out of range.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Bystrom throws a head kick but Zulu moves out of range.
Bystrom misses the jab.
BOOM! Zulu lands a beautiful left hook that drops Bystrom. Bystrom tries to recover but Zulu is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Bystrom lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kvame Zulu!
