Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Wedge Antilles (ranked 5121 p4p, 4760 weight class) and Maurits Assndrop (ranked 615 p4p, 595 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Antilles punishes Assndrop's body with a nice straight punch.
Antilles takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Antilles drops Assndrop with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Assndrop looks back up at him and smiles so Antilles waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Assndrop is still looking wobbly from the end of the last round!
Antilles avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

and Antilles counters with a powerful cross that connects right on the chin and the lights go out! A massive one punch knock out!

After the fight, Wedge Antilles was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
