Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jamie Portman (ranked 2049 p4p, 5015 weight class) and Donny Dillman (ranked 33 p4p, 72 weight class). Donny Dillman told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Portman moves out of range as Dillman strikes.
Portman is looking to counter punch.
Portman throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Dillman stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Portman closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Portman lands in his opponent's guard.
Portman seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Portman is pushing down on Dillman's leg trying to pass to half guard. Dillman is fighting to maintain full guard but Portman has managed to sneak the leg through.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Portman wants to free his trapped foot but Dillman is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Portman has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Dillman is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Portman yanks on the arm and Dillman is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Portman.
