Lethal closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Tarlac uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Lethal.
Lethal throws out a token jab with nothing on it.

Tarlac rushes Lethal and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

We've been informed that Lethal has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Matt Lethal seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Lethal throws a sloppy head kick and Tarlac moves out of range easily.
Tarlac displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Lethal throws out the jab.
Tarlac went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.

Despite the aggression on Lethal's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.

and Lethal counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Tarlac thinking.

Lethal circles away before darting back in with a big straight right hand. It connects beautifully and sends Tarlac tumbling to the canvas! He's out cold! Lethal wins by KO!
