Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Keller Hoyt (ranked 7052 p4p, 5426 weight class) and Jamie Hudson (ranked 513 p4p, 457 weight class). Keller Hoyt has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Keller Hoyt!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jamie Hudson!
The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.

Hoyt shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Hudson sprawls well. Hudson wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Hoyt gets slowly back to his feet.

Hoyt gets caught napping as Hudson dives in and scores a takedown. Hoyt manages to retain guard.
Hudson is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Hoyt utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Hudson trying to control but Hoyt is working from the bottom.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hoyt trying to keep a closed guard but Hudson is proving a slippery customer.

Hudson thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hudson wants to control from the top but Hoyt keeps moving.

Hudson lands a couple of digs.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Hudson pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Hoyt is keeping the position for now.
Hudson cracks Hoyt with a solid left hand.
Hudson slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Hudson is working Hoyt over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Hudson looking to sit in guard and control but Hoyt gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Hudson pulls Hoyt in close to prevent any damage.
Hudson looking to hit a scissor sweep but Hoyt is one step ahead there.
Hoyt looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.

Hudson is trying to keep Hoyt in close.
Hoyt not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Hudson is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Hudson looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hoyt scoring with some ground and pound.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Hoyt wants to pass the guard but Hudson is keeping the position.
Hudson has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Hoyt has passed into side control.
Hudson is trying to get back to half guard.
Hudson is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Hudson regains half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jamie Hudson dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Hoyt tries for a takedown but Hudson sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Hudson wants to clinch up but Hoyt keeps it at a distance.

Hudson closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Hudson looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Hoyt with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Hudson lands with a punch from half guard.

Hudson is working for a submission of some sort.
Hudson is nestled in close to Hoyt, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Hudson has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Hudson lands a heavy elbow.

Hudson lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Hudson cracks Hoyt with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Hudson lands a nice shot to the head.
Hudson loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Hoyt scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Hudson land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Hudson stands and salutes the crowd.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:33 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jamie Hudson!
Jamie Hudson bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
