Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

De Vries gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Haardt tries to clinch up but De Vries circles away and keeps his distance.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that De Vries has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
A lazy left from De Vries finds it's target.

It looks like Bertel Haardt has been cut.

De Vries dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
De Vries swings for the body but Haardt moves out of range.
Haardt has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from De Vries finds it's way round the side to connect with Haardt's head.

De Vries gets in close and tags Haardt with a short punch that almost sends Haardt to the mat! Oh Haardt is in big trouble! He turns his back on De Vries, trying to create some distance but De Vries rushes him, striking wildly and Haardt goes down! The referee tackles De Vries into the cage to end the fight! De Vries is one violent man!
