Paxinos darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Van Hoodonk wants to get back to his feet.
Paxinos is trying to control the action in half guard but Van Hoodonk is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Paxinos throws a strike but Van Hoodonk avoids it easily and moves to full guard.
Paxinos wants to pass the guard but Van Hoodonk is keeping the position.

and Van Hoodonk counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Paxinos shoots in for a double leg but Van Hoodonk sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Paxinos tries to bum rush Van Hoodonk with a series of wild strikes but Van Hoodonk uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Paxinos shoots in looking for a takedown but Van Hoodonk manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Paxinos's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
