Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between freight train (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Maynard Keenan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). train comes into the arena with yes blaring out of the sound system. Keenan has chosen Aenema as his entrance music. freight train has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Daniel Bishop and Steven Brown.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Keenan tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
train throws a nice looking combination but Keenan bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Keenan fails with the takedown

Keenan can't find room to land a body shot as train controls the action.
Keenan is trying to drag train to the mat but train just about manages to keep his footing. He used the ropes to his advantage there.

Keenan wants to lay and pray for a moment but train keeps working.

Keenan is trying to control the action in half guard but train is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Keenan wants to stand up but train is controlling the position.

freight train overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

You can see the frustration on Keenan's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

train is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Keenan is trying to escape and train transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Keenan is forced to tap! Nice work there by train! Very nice indeed!
