Wagner needs to keep his hands up - Northwood had a free shot at his head there.
Northwood has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Wagner finds it's way round the side to connect with Northwood's head.

Wagner uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Northwood.

Northwood wants to work for an arm triangle but Wagner is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Northwood looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Northwood seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Wagner for as long as he can get away with.
Northwood winds up and cracks Wagner with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Wagner has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Northwood. Oh but Wagner has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Northwood goes limp - he's gone! Wagner jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
