Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Igor Kreten (ranked 7380 p4p, 4682 weight class) and Jacob Gayle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

Gayle takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Kreten lands with a good body shot.

Gayle throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Kreten was covering up waiting for the punch and Gayle finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Gayle sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Kreten's guard.

You get the feeling that Kreten really doesn't like being in this position too much.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Kreten is trying to push Gayle away but Gayle has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Kreten jumps guard and drags Gayle to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Kreten will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Kreten is looking for a triangle here but Gayle uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.

Kreten shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Gayle sprawls well. Gayle wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Kreten gets slowly back to his feet.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Gayle has hold of Kreten's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Kreten manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Well Gayle has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
