Alexander clinches up against the cage.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Alexander is looking to take this one to the mat.
Lodinkinni is trying to force a seperation but Alexander has the dominant position.
Lodinkinni is pressed up against the cage. Alexander has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Lodinkinni down to the mat. Lodinkinni avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Orvar Odd Lodinkinni seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lodinkinni connects with a right hand. Alexander shakes it off.
Lodinkinni throws a one two combo.
Alexander looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Lodinkinni is fending him off so far but Alexander persists. Nope, Lodinkinni circles away and we're back to standing.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Alexander moves forwards but Lodinkinni connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Alexander goes for a double leg but Lodinkinni avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Lodinkinni continues to drive forward.
Lodinkinni throws out a loose jab but Alexander uses good head movement to avoid it.
Alexander attempts a counter takedown but Lodinkinni avoids it well and moves away.
Lodinkinni has worked on his takedown defense in the runup to this fight and it is paying off so far.

Orvar Odd Lodinkinni is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Lodinkinni shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Alexander eats them both and turns towards Lodinkinni to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
