Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jakub Socharub (ranked 4887 p4p, 2690 weight class) and Aiden Trapp (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Trapp has chosen The Notorious B.I.G. - Juicy as his entrance music. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Socharub is looking to clinch but Trapp is avoiding it.
Trapp stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Trapp wants it to stay on the feet.

Socharub tries to circle away but Trapp has him pinned against the cage.

Socharub ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Socharub no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Trapp's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Socharub thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
Socharub tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Trapp really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Socharub. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Socharub is on top in guard.

Socharub stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Trapp swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Trapp has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Socharub gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Socharub is trying hard to land a takedown here. Trapp sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Socharub closes the distance and clinches up with Trapp, looking for a takedown. Socharub pushes Trapp against the cage but Trapp circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Socharub tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Trapp manages to circle out of the way.
Trapp lands a jab to Socharub's midsection.
Trapp looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Trapp steps in with a hook that catches Socharub right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Trapp follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Socharub looks absolutely devastated.
