PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Aki Hiko (ranked 1373 p4p, 1487 weight class) and Fernand Duif (ranked 66 p4p, 74 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

With a record of 7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Fernand Duif!

Hiko turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Hiko manages to end up in side control.

The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Hiko has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Hiko and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

That was a close second round but I would say that Aki Hiko will probably get the nod.

Hiko dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Duif. That did some damage!

Hiko is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Duif is just riding it out for now. Hiko eventually gives up the hold.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Hiko, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
