Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Esteban Mondragon (ranked 7096 p4p, 4421 weight class) and Paddy OBrien (ranked 703 p4p, 548 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

OBrien pushes Mondragon up against the ropes in a clinch.
Mondragon tries to pull guard but OBrien holds him up against the ropes and eventually Mondragon drops back down to his feet.
Mondragon definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

OBrien has Mondragon pressed up against the ropes. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. OBrien pulls back from the ropes and twists to the side, sending Mondragon tumbling to the mat - OBrien dives into Mondragon's guard.

OBrien content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Mondragon has locked up a guillotine! Mondragon's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? OBrien is holding on here and Mondragon must be using up a lot of energy. OBrien has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Mondragon gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
