Williams comes to the cage accompanied by Here Comes the Boom. Quinnen Williams could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Raitis Ivanans's chin.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Raitis Ivanans!

Williams is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Ivanans defends well.

Williams's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Ivanans has his foot on Williams's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Williams works his way back into a safe position though.
Ivanans is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Ivanans is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Despite the aggression on Ivanans's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.

It seemed like Ivanans was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Williams lands a nice hook to Ivanans's body. Ivanans takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Williams cracks Ivanans with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Ivanans tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Williams pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Ivanans is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:05 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Quinnen Williams!
A determined Quinnen Williams didn't want to dwell on this fight in his post fight interview. Instead he was more keen to state he wants a title shot. Let's see if he gets it!
