Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

With a record of 4 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Daniel Pawlik!
The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, James Glass and Donald Grub.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pawlik misses with a takedown
and Pyke counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Pawlik shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Pyke defends it nicely.
A left lands for Pyke.
Pyke lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Pawlik misses with a takedown
and Pyke makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Pawlik seems to have recovered his senses.
Magnus Pyke has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Daniel Pawlik.

Pawlik shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Pyke manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Pyke uses the cage to get back to his feet.

Pyke cracks Pawlik with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Pawlik looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Pyke finish him?

Pyke lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Pawlik at a distance.

Pawlik is aggressively charging in as Pyke backs up avoiding any damage. Pyke tosses out a jab and Pawlik runs right into it face first! Pawlik is out cold! Pyke dropped down on all fours and is barking in Pawlik's face like a pit bull in celebration until the ref was finally able to pull him away!
