The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, Dirk Anderson and Santiago Holmes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barnes throws a right hand that misses
and Diaz counters with a stiff right hand.
Barnes tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Jon Diaz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Barnes uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Diaz.
Diaz lands a jab to Barnes's midsection.
Barnes's corner calls for a 1-2. Barnes obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Diaz digs a good body shot into Barnes's ribs.
Diaz swings for the body but Barnes moves out of range.
Barnes avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Diaz clinches up with Barnes and pushes him back against the cage.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Diaz looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Diaz pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Barnes fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Diaz has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Barnes misses with a few strikes there.
Diaz thuds his right hand into Barnes's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Diaz has closed the distance and engaged Barnes in a clinch.
Diaz gets through Barnes's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jon Diaz dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Diaz pushes Barnes up against the cage in a clinch.
Diaz escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Barnes takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Diaz lands with a right hand.
Diaz scores with a body shot.
Diaz cracks a nice hook into Barnes's ribs.
The fighters circling - Diaz throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Barnes is looking to counter punch.
Diaz sends Barnes crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Diaz is motioning to the referee to let Barnes up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Barnes is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Diaz instigates a clinch.
Oh Barnes is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Diaz dips a shoulder and cracks Barnes with a mighty uppercut! Barnes falls back against the cage and Diaz unloads with a barrage of strikes! Barnes is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Diaz screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:44 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jon Diaz!
