Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Colton Ortiz (ranked 2284 p4p, 5597 weight class) and Benito Rummy (ranked 216 p4p, 418 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Benito Rummy was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Rummy thows a leg kick but Ortiz checks it

and Ortiz counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
We've been hearing good reports from Ortiz's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Rummy can do anything to dispel that myth.

Ortiz is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Rummy really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ortiz. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Ortiz drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Ortiz as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Rummy screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Ortiz! Nice submission victory there!
