Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Demi Achilles (ranked 4024 p4p, 25546 weight class) and Ko Artist (ranked 427 p4p, 653 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Demi Achilles has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Demi Achilles seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Achilles loads up on a big right hand but Artist slips the punch.
Achilles takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Achilles looks to land a left hand but Artist moved out of range nicely.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Artist.

Achilles shoots in looking for a takedown but Artist manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Achilles's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Artist moves forwards but Achilles connects with a nice, crisp jab.

We've been hearing reports that Achilles has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Achilles throws a combination. Artist tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

Ko Artist is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

and Achilles decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Artist's guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Achilles drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Achilles jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Achilles is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Artist doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Achilles.

Achilles is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Artist has managed to free his arm - good work.

Artist pushes Achilles off, looking to escape but Achilles dives into side control. He's locked up a kimura now - that was fast! He's cranking on it and Artist is forced to tap! The fight is over!
