Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Marcus Aurelius (ranked 1604 p4p, 1636 weight class) and Tiger Grandpa (ranked 181 p4p, 186 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 1 rounds, in the featherweight division.

Sloppy strikes from Grandpa. Those never looked like landing.
Grandpa connects with a nice looking jab.
Grandpa leaves Aurelius with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Aurelius changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Grandpa tries to avoid it but Aurelius manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Grandpa to the ground. Grandpa escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Aurelius dives in and grabs Grandpa's left leg, looking for a takedown. Grandpa pushes down on Aurelius's head and hops out.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Aurelius closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Grandpa breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Grandpa shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Grandpa throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Grandpa misses with an uppercut. Aurelius saw that one coming.

Aurelius throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Grandpa was covering up waiting for the punch and Aurelius finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Aurelius stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Grandpa swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Grandpa is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Aurelius is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Grandpa defends it well.

Grandpa punishes Aurelius's body with a nice straight punch.

Grandpa breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Grandpa throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Aurelius on the side of the head.
Aurelius is trying hard to land a takedown here. Grandpa sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

A little jabbing left from Grandpa on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.

Grandpa pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Aurelius with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Grandpa to score with a decent uppercut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Aurelius fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Grandpa sprawls well initially but Aurelius persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Aurelius is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Grandpa doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Aurelius.

Aurelius sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Grandpa's guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Aurelius is sitting in close to Grandpa's body. Grandpa has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Aurelius is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Aurelius is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Grandpa.
