PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Uriah Small (ranked 3652 p4p, 83 weight class) and Marvin Vettori (ranked 639 p4p, 11 weight class). Vettori is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Police On My Back- The Rocketz. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

With a record of 21 - 9 - 1, fighting out of New York, Marvin Vettori!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Steve Smith and Elvis Blanc.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vettori swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Vettori takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Vettori has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Nice uppercut lands for Small. That snapped Vettori's head back.
A clash of legs there as Vettori blocks the low kick.
Small tries to close the distance and clinch up but Vettori swats him away and circles back towards the center.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Vettori connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

The referee looks into his eyes and asks him to walk forwards. He's going to allow this one to continue but will Small be able to survive another onslaught?

Small is rocked!
Vettori scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Oh Small is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
